Timothy Hill

Timothy has been in the wine and spirits industry for 14 years.  Once he graduated from San Diego State University with a Marketing Degree in 2007, he started at Regal Wine Company California as a Chain Sales Executive.  Timothy didn’t know anything about wine but had a passion for sales and the will to “win”.  Timothy soon was promoted to District Manager South Bay where he managed five Chain Sales Executives from San Jose to Fresno.  In 2010, he moved up to San Francisco to manage the Regal North Bay Chain Team which included both Sonoma and Napa.

In 2012, Timothy moved to Scottsdale, Arizona and managed the state as a State Manager for Jackson Family Wines.  During his tenure at JFW, he was able to create a relationship with his partner wholesaler Southern Wine & Spirits of Arizona.  In 2013, he was given the opportunity to go inside of SW&S Arizona as a Brand Manager to manage Jackson Family Wines.  Timothy oversaw all pricing, programming, and inventory management for the state of Arizona which was an incredible learning experience.

After one year at SW&S of Arizona, Timothy moved to Maryland to be the new Jackson Family Wines Estates Region Manager covering Maryland, DC, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  He was busy but loved every second of the gig.

In the summer of 2016, Timothy moved to Las Vegas to run the fine wine sales team Micro Cru Fine Wines within Breakthru Beverage Nevada.  Timothy managed all the retail and On-Premise business for JFW, Gil Family Estates, Piattelli, and Advantage International.

After two years, Timothy moved to Chicago, Illinois to run the fine wine sales team Pinnacle Fine Wines within Breakthru Beverage Illinois.  Timothy also started a brand-new chain team that called on the top accounts in Chicagoland.  Timothy grew the business to new heights until the pandemic hit in 2020.

Finally, after almost a year and a half, the Romano Family and Regal California Team partnered to create Romano Regal Wine Company of Illinois.  This new partnership started in July of 2022 and Timothy runs the sales team as Vice President.  Currently, Timothy is responsible for 60+ suppliers and a sales team of 46 people in Illinois.

Timothy is dedicated to sharing his passion for the wine and spirits industry.  He also gained a huge appreciation for management and the support of sales professionals.  In his spare time, Timothy loves to check out new places to dine, travel to unknown wine regions, and relax with his wife Katie and two daughters, Dylan and Presley.
